Family allowance
Granted for every child aged 0–18. The amount is 2 012 NOK/month per child. You can apply for a back payment up to 3 months.
Care allowance
Granted from the child’s 1st birthday. The benefit is 7,500 NOK/month per child aged 13–19 months. You can apply for a back payment up to 3 months.
Parental allowance
Granted to parents working in Norway who have just had a child.
Birth grant
A one-time benefit of 92,648 NOK paid to the mother.
Pregnancy benefit
Granted to women who, for health reasons related to pregnancy, must stop working.
